Protecting What's His

Protecting What's His (Line of Duty, #1) - Tessa Bailey

Easy, quick, enjoyable, sexy read*g* The dialogues went smoothly enough. The narrative, for some reason, didn't engage me enough to fully buy into the attraction, almost felt like I was only seeing the surface of the relationship, not really sure why. Perhaps an additional 50 pages or so to explore it further would have done it for me.

Ginger, the h, for such a young age, has to mature really fast bec of her mother. I like her enough. Derek, the H, was typical alpha, domineering, overprotective, sweet and caring. I like him enough. Willa, Ginger's sister, now there's a girl with spunk. I like her.

If I want a sexy read b/w the angst-filled ones to give my literary heart a break, I can see myself gravitating towards Ms. Bailey's other works.
